A higher 3.07:1 Continental axle ratio allows relaxed cruising at around 80mph and roughly 3000rpm, which suits the grand touring nature of the car beautifully. We can prepare the La Sarthe with either a manual or automatic gearbox, while rebuilt dashboard instruments, electric windows and a heated rear window add welcome practicality.
